City Winery - Sunday Afternoon - Sorting the Grapes

I don't know a better way to spend a sunday afternoon then to sort through
grapes that arrived from Chile to eventually be made into a potential Malbec
varietal. City Winery is a great place in NYC that allows you to go through
the entire winemaking process from start to finish. They get grapes from
top producers in California, Oregon, Washington and South America. I will
be blogging more about this in the weeks/months to come. For those that
love wine and really want to learn about the winemaking process (and reside
in the NYC area), check out City Winery in SoHo.

This is a photo of the sorting out of stems process.
