Antony never ceases to amaze. Every show is more spectacular than the last one that I've seen. This was a special one that was commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art and with Symphony Orchestra arranged by Nico Muhly. Laser lights that filled the space, a 60 piece orchestra, exquisite set detail and even a bit of visual theatre.
The music was all memorable, including his signature rendition of Beyonce's Crazy in Love. My favorite tracks include Another World, Cripple and the Starfish, For Today I'm a Boy and.... I Fell in Love With a Dead Boy.
The audience included some very recognizable people ( at least to me).... Rufus Wainwright, Claudia Gonson (from the Magnetic Fields) and Tilda Swinton.
