Fran Healy at City WInery - October 7, 2010
Wow! What an amazing show. My thoughts may be clouded by the Cabernet Franc on tap, but I feel like I just witnessed such an awesome show at a small venue. Fran, as you may know, is the lead singer of the Scottish band Travis. He has a new solo album out which contains lead single "Buttercups". He played the majority of that solo album as well as a smattering of Travis hits. Last encore was "As you Are" from the great album "The Man Who".
He also played a number of other Travis songs such as "Writing to Reach You", "Dear Diary", "Last Train" and "20".
The new songs have guest appearances by both Paul McCartney and Neko Case. Check it out. It's called Wreckorder.
