I have a soft spot in my heart for The Wedding Present. If I can I will try
to catch every show they play in NYC. This show was extra special since
they played their seminal album "Bizarro" (UK Version) from start to finish.
They started with a couple of old faves (Corduroy and Everyone Thinks He
Looks Daft being standouts) and a couple of new tracks.
Then they blasted into Bizarro with a very jangly pop version of
Brassneck... Many of these tracks I have never heard live before, and it was
a treat. Kennedy, What Have I Said Now? and Take Me!(9 minutes + of super
fast indie guitar strumming) were other standouts.
